Absence and Attendance

We are proud of our strong attendance, and students are expected to attend over 96%. Please contact us on each day of absence by phone, text or the Parent App. If we don’t receive a notification, we will follow up in line with safeguarding procedures. Ongoing or patterned absence may involve Somerset’s Education Engagement Service.

Students must arrive by 8:35am for an 8:40am Tutorial. Registers are taken every lesson, and lateness will result in a detention. Attendance and punctuality are monitored electronically, and we will let families know if concerns arise.

Support is available through our Parent & Family Support Adviser, Wellbeing Hub, School Chaplain and Attendance Manager.
