Concerns or Complaints
We place a high value on our partnerships with parents and the wider community. Where issues arise, or where there are concerns, we are keen to resolve these as quickly and positively as possible
The school has a wide range of staff available to help students, or their parents and carers, with any issues or concerns that might arise
Tutors
Your child's Tutor should be contacted in the first instance. They can help you with routine issues and general concerns. To get in touch with one of them please email them using the format: intialsurname@courtfields.bep.ac or call 01823 664201.
Year leaders
If you have an issue regarding learning, achievement or academic progress, please contact your child's Year leader.
Also, if you have any concerns around behaviour, bullying, wellbeing or pastoral care, the Year leader is the best person to speak with.
Class Teachers or Subject/Faculty leaders
Teachers and Subject/Faculty leaders should be contacted if you have concerns around your child’s learning and progress in a specific subject or have queries around the homework they are being set.
SEND Team
The SEND Team support students with additional needs, including those with special educational needs, children who are looked after or have previously been looked after, and those with particular medical needs where additional support is required.
To make contact with them, please email SEN@courtfields.bep.ac or call 01823 664201
Senior staff
The Senior Leadership Team, Headteacher or CEO should be contacted for issues not resolved satisfactorily after all other channels have been followed.
To make contact with them, please email schooloffice@courtfields.bep.ac or call 01823 664201 to request a meeting.
