Parent Bulletin 9th Oct 2026
Message from Mrs Matthews
Thanks to all staff and parents for our successful launch of the mobile phone pouches. As you will know, this is following the Government guidance that mobile phones should not be accessible during the school day. We have responded to this with issuing pouches, which will allow students to keep their phones away and not accessible in school, helping them to focus on their learning. Thank you for your support with this.
Have a lovely weekend.
Best wishes, Mrs Matthews
Mobile Phone Pouch Introduction
Children have now been given their Mobile Phone pouches (or red card), and rehearsed the end-of-day routine. From Monday 12th October every child that brings a phone to school must:
• Bring their Yondr pouch every day
• Unlock pouch at locking station at gates and place their phone in the pouch and lock it on arrival
• Keep the locked pouch safely in their school bag
• Unlock the pouch when leaving the school site and re-lock the empty pouch before taking it home
• We recommend that students keep their empty, locked pouch in their school bag overnight so that it is ready for the following day.
Please refer to the email that was sent out today ( and previously on 2nd October) for all information and FAQs.
Thank you for your support
New Sports Kits!
We are delighted to unveil our brand-new sports kits, which will be worn by Court Fields teams across a range of fixtures and competitions this year.
A huge thank you to our generous local sponsors G & L Consultancy Ltd, Mass Care, The Mount Veterinary Hospital , WJ UK , Albert Goodman and Taurus Project, whose support has made these fantastic new kits possible.
This week, representatives from the sponsoring businesses visited the school to meet students, see the kits first-hand and hear about the importance of sport and extracurricular opportunities at Court Fields. It was wonderful to see our students proudly modelling the new kits and sharing their enthusiasm for representing the school.
We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our local business community. The students are thrilled with their new kits, and we know they will wear them with pride as they represent Court Fields throughout the year.
Thank you for helping our students look and feel their best on the sports field!

A message from Avon & Somerset Police
Following the recent tragic e-scooter incident in Taunton, we would like to share an important letter from Avon and Somerset Police regarding the use of privately owned e-scooters.
We appreciate this is a sensitive issue, but we encourage all parents and carers to take a few moments to read the information and discuss the safe and lawful use of e-scooters with their child where appropriate.
Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by this tragic incident.
Thank you for your support.
